Zou Lei Visits Thyssenkrupp in Germany
Zou Lei, Chairman of China Datang, visited German steel giant Thyssenkrupp in Germany, and had a friendly exchange of views on further deepening strategic cooperation between the two companies with Christian Woznitza, Managing Director of Carbon2Chem (C2C) of Thyssenkrupp, on May 10.
During their meeting, Zou introduced to Woznitza China Datang's achievements and its key strategic plans for accelerating green development.

China Datang and Thyssenkrupp conducted in-depth exchanges at both managerial and technical levels for multiple times since they signed a strategic cooperation agreement in 2022, Zou pointed out.

As a technology leader, Thyssenkrupp provides solutions for the green transformation of energy and industry sectors, sharing a common vision with China Datang in promoting carbon reduction, Zou noted.

He said that China Datang is ready to strengthen cooperation with Thyssenkrupp on sci-tech innovation, advancing technology commercialization through jointly developing demonstration projects, so as to promote global green energy transition and sustainable development.

Woznitza welcomed the China Datang delegation led by Zou and briefed the delegation on Thyssenkrupp's technological development in areas such as green hydrogen and green methanol.

He said Thyssenkrupp is willing to strengthen comprehensive cooperation with China Datang on green hydrogen production and application, fully leverage their respective technological and market advantages, actively seek development opportunities and achieve substantive cooperation results at an early date.
On the afternoon of May 10, Zou visited the Chinese Consulate-General in Dusseldorf, Germany, and had a friendly talk with Consul General Du Chunguo, about China Datang's business cooperation with German partners.

During his visit to Germany, Zou also met the head of the European operations of China's Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group Co., Ltd., discussing Chinese enterprises entering the European market and conducting technological cooperation.
