China Datang Corporate Open Day activity enters campus

On June 25, star class lecturers group organized by Datang Henan Clean Energy Company entered the Hope Primary School in Huangdimiao Township, Linying County, Luohe City. They innovatively carried out corporate open day activities by using drones to display real-time wind farms in various regions, showcasing wind power technology innovations and promoting safe electricity usage. They also organized art performances and presented a wonderful show to more than 300 teachers, students and local residents.
With the theme of "The Charm of Green Wind Power", the lecturers combined their own work experiences to fully display the development history of wind power in mid China, the significance of clean energy and green environmental protection, and the social responsibility of SOEs. By using drones, the students sawthe wind farms located hundreds of kilometers away, and Datang employees working in the wind power centralized control room, booster station and wind turbines, unveiling the mystery of wind power.
"I have only heard of wind power before, and now wind power is built on the doorstep, and the sky is getting blue now!" a villager said. The activity not only systematically and visually demonstrated the development process of wind power and the significance of wind power development in achieving the "dual carbon" goal and protecting the ecological environment, but also explained the working principles of wind turbines in easy-to-understand language, helping students and local villagers to raise environmental protection awareness.
As the first enterprise in Henan Province to develop and construct wind power, Datang Henan Clean Energy Company has always been in a leading position in the renewable energy sector in Henan. Up to now, 10 billion yuan has been invested to build 478 wind turbines in 9 cities and 15 districts in the province, providing a total of 9 billion kWh of clean electricity, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 6 million tons, and contributing to the ecological environment of Henan Province.
While continuing to grow and develop, the company actively fulfills its social responsibility. In accordance with the concept of "where the project is built, where the poverty alleviation work is carried out", the company has built more than 220 kilometers of road. It delivers Datang Star Class in schools in mountainous and rural areas, bringing electricity safety knowledge to villagers. It also innovatively adopts the mode of "company + cooperative + industry" to help the poor by developing vegetable greenhouses and building fish ponds in Luohe and Sanmenxia. It continuously makes efforts in promoting rural revitalization.
