China Datang Corporation Renewable Power Co.,Ltd., one of the earliest power companies engaged in renewable energy development in China, was successfully listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on December 17, 2010.
The company is mainly engaged in the development, investment, construction and management of wind power and other renewable energy; research and development, application and promotion of low-carbon technology; research and development, sales, testing and maintenance of renewable energy related equipment; power production; domestic and foreign power engineering design, construction and installation, overhaul and maintenance; import and export services of renewable energy equipment and technology; foreign investment; consulting services related to new energy business, etc.
The company is actively developing renewable energy business such as wind power and solar power. As of the end of 2019, the company has a controlling installed capacity of 9,761 MW, among which 9,533 MW wind power and 223 MW PV power. It has 3,070 employees.
The company has built the world's largest wind farm invested and operated by the same entity within the same region-Chifeng Saihanba Wind Farm; China's first offshore wind power demonstration project-Shanghai East Bridge offshore wind power project; China's first "grid-friendly" Wind Farm-Dongshan Wind Farm, etc.
