Datang Environment Industry Group Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive environmental governance services provider in operation services, research and development, product manufacturing, engineering and investment. It was established in 2004 and listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on November 15，2016.
The company is dedicated to become a world-class technology-based firm in environmental protection, focusing on the whole industrial chain of environmental protection and energy conservation in coal-fired power plants，and also the green, clean and efficient utilization of energy. It has gradually grown into a technical company with priority in operating business, while also with the expertise in engineering and manufacture. Its main business is to provide a complete industrial chain for environmental protection in coal-fired power plants, including DeSOx, DeNOx, dust removal, ash removal, dust treatment, water treatment and energy conservation. Its business has expanded to India, Thailand and other "Belt and Road" countries. The company is the top player in several core sectors in China. By the end of 2019, it had become the largest concession operator in DeSOx and DeNOx in China and the world’s largest manufacturer of plate-type DeNOx catalyst.
Technology has always been the driving force for its development, boasting strong capabilities in research, design and product development. By the end of 2019, it has obtained 1,235 patents authorization including 133 inventions; led 2 international standards, 3 national standards, and participated in the making and release of 20 international, national and industrial standards; it has participated in 4 national key research and development projects; it has won more than 60 industrial and provincial science and technology awards, including 6 first prizes and 23 second prizes; it owns 1 academician expert workstation, 3 post-doctoral research workstations, 2 provincial enterprise technology centers and 1 national level Catalyst Testing Center. Datang Environment has 41 important technical achievements in the field of flue gas treatment, denitration catalysts, smart water services and energy saving technology, including 19 core technologies such as energy-saving turbulent pipe grids, waste heat utilization of flue gas, zero discharge of desulfurization wastewater, and low-temperature denitration catalysts.
